I primarily write in Russian, and English is my second language. This book, however, was initially conceived in English, and you're reading the original text. The initial language still left significant impact on the translated version, and the resulting work may be significantly different from my usual stories.

To any aspiring authors out there, I could advise not to start new works in your non-native tongue. The translation and adaptation of the work takes a lot of effort.
