"The Last Glance"

The party was in full swing. Loud music blended with joyful voices, creating a vibrant energy that enveloped everyone present. Among the crowd of girls stood one particular figure who caught attention. She stood slightly apart from the main festivities, holding a glass of wine and gently swaying to the rhythm of the melody. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity and friendliness alike. This was Louie.

A young man named Neil noticed her immediately. Her expressive features and confident gaze drew his attention. He approached closer and decided to speak first:

"Hey, hello! I'm Neil. And you?"

She turned towards him, glancing at him with a smile playing on the corner of her lips:

"Hello, I'm Louie."

"You'll definitely love this city," noted the girl. "There are so many opportunities for new acquaintances and adventures."

Neil grinned, recalling moments from the past when he thought otherwise:

"I used to think my life was passing by without me until I moved here. Now I understand how important it is to try new things and take risks sometimes."

Raising their glasses, Louie said:

"Here's to new friendships and discoveries!"

Their meeting marked the beginning of a long-lasting friendship filled with joint visits to cinemas, cozy evenings at home, and endless conversations about the meaning of life and love. But most of all, they cherished nightly walks through the city streets, exploring quiet alleys and finding secluded spots together.

One evening, sitting atop a high-rise building, they gazed upon the twinkling lights below.

"What do you think friends are really needed for?" suddenly asked Neil.

Louie pondered over the question briefly:

"I believe friends help us feel understood and accepted just as we are. Without them, our lives would be empty."

"Agreed," responded Neil. "Sometimes you can feel lost among so many people, but true friends always find you and support you."
