FEMIDA WRITES

FEMIDA RIGHTS

CHAPTER 1

Stella tried to stay just. Neither circumstances, nor contemporizes could change her mind & intention.

She was kind, gentle, wise & creative. She adored to see the result of her hardworking. From the very beginning of her book of Constitution, she tried her best to be a true Lady & never lose self-respect & common sense.

Stella Nadichi was a lawyer. The woman believed in love. She loved her Husband passionately.

Stefano had his business. His brother Cyril was the owner of the bank.

Stefano & Stella were married in youth & had two daughters the twins Ann & Jane.

Stefano was a well-bred, well-fed & well-educated young man, a true Gentleman. He was handsome, clever & caring for his Family. “A first class Boss” – his employees used to call him & paid much respect.

He was also a perfect Father. Ann & Jane adored the Father.

Of all the senses, Stella evaluated the sense of humor best. She hated depressed people & always kept her smile.

Luckily, she was happily married & could spend much time writing. The lawyer is always the author. Stella laughed when Stefano called her the law-writer.

“Too enthusiastic! “, - she would point

“But enthusiasm is the spirit of any labor, the creative labor as well, my Darling “;- he would parry the blow…

CHAPTER 2

That month Stella got the message from the border. The Red Cross asked for the lawyer urgently.

“High Time for the Charity”, - my Darling. “You are the lawyer pro-bone & now you are to protect the human rights of the Immigrants from Syria &Iraq! Good luck, my Dear Stella”.

People came to Belarus to fight the horrors & pains of the wartime. They needed help & support.

It was the wintertime. December was frosty & the Immigrants were desperate for themselves & their small children.

Stella did not think twice. She called the Husband to tell him she was going to the border & asked to take care of the daughters. Stefano was nearly astonished but he got used to support his wife in any of her decisions.

Stella arrived to the Logistic center where the immigrants stayed & started with the interview. She needed the information.

The neighbor countries Poland & Lithuania rejected the immigrants the pass to Germany. The Kurds tried to get to Germany to reunite with their relatives & to get the support & the medical aid.

People told Stella about the war & the devastation in their Motherland. They explained that they had no chance to come back.

Stella made notes & returned home.

It was the Christmas time.

No miracle happened. The new Chancellor in Berlin denied the entrance to Germany for the Immigrants from Asia. The immigrants were now the matter of case for the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Ministry.

CHAPTER 3 “the CHRISTMAS EVE IN ROYAL HARODNA”

Stella came home for dinner. Stefano & the girls were watching TV in the living- room. Ann & Jane hugged Mom & asked to tell them the news about the immigrants.

-My dear girls, Stella answered. These poor people need the miracle. They are hungry, tired & desperate. They have no home & no hope. I wish I could help them, but I am not the God. I am just the Lawyer.- Mummy, we can invite them for Christmas dinner for example. – Ann suggested.- No way, - cried Jane, - they are too dirty.- Sheer… Jane, you should not say such words about the people who are in trouble. You are to be compassionate to the people in need.- Ok, Mum. Then you may invite some kids & their parents for Christmas. I won\t mind.- Good girl! - Stella smiled.

She went to the kitchen & made herself a cup of tea. It seemed to be a long sleepless night ahead , she thought. She had to look through the notes & to make an official inquiry to the EU Court in Hague. The purpose was to protect the HUMAN Rights of the Immigrants & to settle the Families safe.

- Merry Christmas! - Stefano kissed the wife. – Will you go to the Logistic center today?

- I am not sure yet, Honey. The kids are waiting for the presents. The papers are to be signed. By the way, The Priest called me up yesterday. He plans to form the groups to educate the Kurd children. Small classes of 5-6 kids in equipped labs. Young teachers are coming to teach the kids English & Russian. They need the languages to express themselves right. The matter of common sense to give them the voice rights as well.

- My Dear Stella! You are too kind. Today is THE Christmas Day! You cannot leave your daughters & your husband for the Immigrants. It’s not fair. Femida orders the sacrifice more than demands it!

Stella felt disarrmed.

The door opened & Jane runed into the room.

- Merry Christmas Daddy! Mum, how do we make a cake? We want a Christmas cake! Mum, please…- Well, well, my Dear. Let me see…

Stella took the child’s hand & went downstairs.

Ann was already looking through the recipe book.

- Mum, I can’t find the recipe. Help me please…

Stella tied the apron & took the bowl.

- That is easy, my Sweet-Hearts, she told. - You take eggs, some sugar & some flower & mix it…

In an hour the family gathered by the fire. It was the best place in the house. It was the place to think & to talk. The place Stefano proposed to Stella & got the approval. The place for the confessions & cordial embraces.

The Christmas tree was burning with candles, the air smelled of cookies & tangerines.

Stefano took the word.

- Sheer… I have something to tell you. I need your attention.

The girls became calm. Stella looked up.

- My Dear Ladies, today is the special day! The day of hopes & wishes. My main wish is of yours health & happiness. I kept it as a secret, but I have a present for you.- What is that, Daddy, Ann cried!- My Dear Ladies we are going on a voyage. We are going on a trip to Romania. We will celebrate the New Year in the castle of Vlad Tepees!- Diablo! Stella cried! You cannot forbid me my Justice. I will not leave the town! I have to work! People need me.

Stefano kept silent for a moment.

- Ok. I do understand you. I take the girls & we go without you.- As you wish. – Stella responded & left the Hall.

CHAPTER 4 THE VOYAGE

Stefano & the girls left the town on the 30th of December. The plane took off at 7 p.m. Stella did not go to the airport. She stayed at the border in the Logistic center til 9 p.m. that day. She could not stop the stream of conscience that was corrupted by the complex feeling of guilt & sorrow.

“Femida needs the sacrifice! I am to post this letter!

We are hired to fight for the Humane Rights”, she kept assuring herself but her personal Justice failed in this argument. On the 31-st of December she had to sign the final copy of the request & to send all the papers by mail to Hague. Stella hoped she was right, she was just & humane; but hour-by-hour she was losing self-respect & self-assurance.

When the papers were filled & signed Stella drove to her office downtown to mail the letter to the court. When the job was done, she looked up at the watches. the ROLEX showed 5.15 p.m. the 31-st of December. The New Year was coming but it gave neither hope nor joy. Stella felt desperate.

Stefano would not call her she knew that for sure. She would call them up herself … next Year; she decided & left the office.

Stella drove her car at the max speed & the only wish she had on the mind that Stefano would ever forgive her.

...

Stefano & the girls returned home on the 2nd of January. They were overwhelmed & full of impressions.

- Mummy, I saw the castle & the portraits of Vlad Tepees & his wife. You know that drama love story about them, don’t you?- Yes My Dear, I know it too well,- Stella replied & looked at her Husband.

Stefano was burning with smile & resembled the flames of the fire in the chimney. He took her in the arms & passionate embraces.

- Tell me please, My Dear Wife, have you missed us?- Stefano, my Beloved Husband I have to tell you.

That was my sacrifice. -I felt crucified. I missed you & the Daughters to hell. BUT I have good news as well. My letter was processed & we managed to free all the Kurds from the border. They were accepted by Germany all right. Moreover, 15 families are assimilated in HARODNIA region. People have the HUMAN Right to be understood & TO BE supported. They are the citizens now. The citizens of the Universe.

- You are a true Fighter. I am proud of you! MY DEAR WIFEThanks God it’s the End, the Happy End!
