1. Green Bard prologue: A World on the Edge; (Duration: 3:19); (Style: Acoustic guitar speech; Vocal: Male)

[[male speech]]

In the vastness of a harsh world, four forces coexist, balancing on a razor's edge.

The north is ruled by the Borg, ferocious Viking nomads whose religion is deified rage. Their economy is based on plunder, and their diplomacy is based on raids.

To the west, behind an impregnable magical barrier, lies the White Kingdom, the state of the "Star Children", aliens from another star. They are ruled by Seven immortal Wanderers who possess technomagic and power over flying green dragons in steel armor, popularly called steel birds. They watch without interfering, cold and unfathomable.

In the south, the Red Kingdom smokes, an empire of iron, fire and absolute control under the heel of the old king Katus. His power is based on three pillars: his fanatical faith in the "God of Fire", the magnificent order of the "Knights of Fire" and the dark magic of his adopted son named Corvus.

Katus turned his land into a hellish forge, emptying mines and corrupting souls, creating a chasm between the elite and hardworking slaves.

And in the east, on the very border with the reds, there are Green Valleys (Viridi Vallibus), a small peaceful kingdom of harmony. The agronomist king Quercus rules here, his son Gracilis rules the waters of the Altum River, and the Orthodox priest and his daughter, singer Amika, are the spiritual heart of the valleys. Their voice is a prayer to nature, their magic is knowledge and gratitude.

The Reds and greens are bound by an ancient treaty that has been in force for three centuries. Once upon a time it was a single nation, divided into the path of power and the path of creation. According to the Treaty, the Reds protect the Valleys from Borg raids, while the Greens feed their defenders with bread and wool. The Valleys are protected by inaccessible mountains and the deep-flowing Altum River belonging to Katus.

But Katus is old, ambitious, and embittered after a string of defeats by the Whites. He dreams of an easy victory and fertile lands. His adopted son Corvus, a cold genius who survived childhood in the Gorge of Snakes thanks to crows, suggests a plan in which betrayal is elevated to the rank of art.

Black smoke over Green valleys. The Reds celebrate their victory in the fallen Granum. It would seem that everything is over, but there is a force that, despite evil and death, can live and work miracles. This is the power of love.

Alacer regains consciousness on the Agri Terminus field after a poisonous rain of black fever. He is the only one of the 25 Fourleaf Warriors who survived the black fever. Amika from the Emerald tells him about what happened in Granum and the Green Valleys. Looking around, he saw the corpses of his brothers-in-arms all around. He is seized by a fit of rage and revenge, but Amika's voice from his ring brings him to his senses. Exhausted, Alacer, crying and praying to Mother Nature, brings all 24 of his loyal soldiers to the ground, digging graves with his sword. He worked all evening and all night without closing his eyes. Only in the morning, when the last warrior was buried, he shook the earth off his clothes and shoes, falls down from fatigue and falls asleep. He wakes up only in the evening and recovers his strength with water from a spring and wild wild berries. After saying a prayer in front of the graves of his warriors, Alacer sets off on a long journey.

The journey of purification and strengthening.

For three centuries we have lived in peace and friendship...

We gave them bread and they gave us protection...

But Katus decided to take our lands like strike of whip...

And broke all relations and long affection...

I'm furious and I want revenge...

The green valleys are in ruins and they are no more...

But I made a promise and now I change...

I will protect the innocent and no more deads anymore...

24. Red Bard story pre "Bellum civile"; (Duration: 2:24); (Style: Speech under acoustic guitar; Vocal: Male)

[[male speech]]

A holiday in the capital of the Red Kingdom of Fust. This is a new victory and new lands are now under the red banner. But King Katus was unhappy because he did not receive his main trophy, the singer of the Green Valleys, Amika. He became fixated on her, and it became his obsession and an important element of his future victories, because she was to become his 18th wife. This obsession leads to the fact that the warlock Corvus receives the resources of the red kingdom to strengthen his own power and expand the Order of the Black Raven.

Pertinax tries to revive his father, but in vain, as if he were blind and did not see the threat from Corvus.

A year has passed since the capture of the Green Valleys, and a crack has appeared in the red kingdom. This rift between King Katus and his adopted son Corvus is quickly turning into a chasm into which the entire red kingdom may fall.

One day, a conflict arises between Katus and Corvus. Corvus accuses the king of being powerless before the white kingdom. And most importantly, he revealed the king's main secret. The fact is that all the children of Katus are given to the education of the court nobility. The boys are branded with the letter R on their right shoulder blade, and they prepare to become red Knights, while the girls serve as nuns in the Temple of Fire. This conflict escalates into an open clash, and Corvus stabs Katus in the chest with a knife. Pertinax, who was standing outside the door of the throne room during the conversation between Katus and Corvus, witnesses the revelation of the mystery and the murder of his father.

Corvus escapes from the murder scene through an open window to gather his soldiers for an uprising. Embittered, Pertinax blows a horn, summoning his red knights. The battle of the red knights and the black ravens is approaching.

This is a civil war!

A loyal warrior of the sacred God of Fire...

But the big gift was the neighboring green lands...

[[male speech]]

Cicatrix has become a haven for refugees from the Green Valleys. This settlement was founded 10 years ago by refugees and escaped convicts from the Red Kingdom. This place is open to all who seek refuge from the tyranny of King Katus.

Although there are many criminals and marginal personalities in this place. This city is governed by a council of five elders who were once in the service of the red king.

Stone city Cicatrix is located next to three lakes in the depths of the Snakes Valley at a distance of 20 miles from the border of Agri Terminus.

Law and order in the city is monitored by proteges of the elders, in fact, former criminals from the red gangs.

There are many building stones near the lakes from which the houses of the Cicatrix are made.

Snakes Valley is a troubled place. There are many gangs of criminals who attack food carts and rob farmers on the border. They also raid Cicatrix, robbing the locals. In addition to robbers, there are many large brown snakes and the walking dead in these places that attack people. A mushroom is a parasite growing in a dark forest that takes over a dead bodies and turns it into a hungry monsters.

There are only three types of currency in this settlement: minted coins of King Katus, food and wine made from wild berries of the dark forest.

Verus was a member of the Cicatrix protection unit and defended against the raids of the walking dead, robbers and brown snakes. It was hard because there were a lot of raids and every day the protection unit lost soldiers.

But one day he appeared, a knight from the dark forest. He skillfully dealt with both the dead and snakes, and the robbers simply ran away when they saw him.

Legends and myths began to be made up about him. One day he came to the Cicatrix and led a detachment of defenders. Yes, it was him, Alacer, the knight from the Green Valleys, who had lost everything-his lover, family, and kingdom.

He was the savior of the Cicatrix and became its hero.

Bards sang about him in taverns, and a local singer named Iris gave him a ballad.

[[male speech]]

Alacer led the Cicatrix defenders squad. He found solutions to all the problems of this settlement. To protect against the attack of brown snakes, he suggested applying an odorous decoction that scared them away. The problem with the parasite mushroom was hidden deep in the dark forest where there was a sect worshipping the mushroom of death. They threw the corpses of people and animals into the mushroom beds so that they turned into the walking dead. Alacer's squad destroyed the lair of the sectarians and put an end to the spread of parasite fungi.

Alacer's gift of persuasion ended the bandits as well. They joined his squad and became the defenders of the Cicatrix.

Verus was a loyal disciple of Alacer and fought bravely for his new homeland.

One day, Pertinax and 12 of his red knights approached Cicatrix. They were tired and exhausted.

Pertinax bowed his head to Alacer and gave him his sword to decide his fate.

Alaсer returned his sword to him and invited him and his knights to join his squad.

[[male speech]]

Alacer's resistance squad is preparing for the final battle with the black crows. The parasite mushroom, which used to revive dead animals and humans by turning them into uncontrollable monsters, performed well on the corpses of brown snakes. When the mushroom penetrates the head of a dead snake, it turns it into an obedient and controllable weapon. The decoction that scared snakes away during their lifetime after the action of the parasite fungus in their head works as a bait.

They made face masks against the black crows poisonous gas, using the yellow moss growing on the rocks to protect their lungs.

They use shields made of resilient wood to protect themselves from explosive balls. The ball explodes only on a hard surface, and it must bounce off this shield.

Donning their armor and sharpening their swords, they set off to the black kingdom for the final battle.

Battle against evil.

It was a battle for life. The brown snakes that used to be the thunderstorm of Snake Valley, controlled by a parasite fungus, tore apart the frightened crows. The Alacer resistance unit, ready for all the magical techniques of the enemy, won.

Corvus, seeing that his army was being defeated, fled to the throne room of the red castle.

Alaсer caught up with him and a sword fight began.

Corvus drinks an ampoule of his green potion to increase his reaction time and strength. The fight continues, and in an instant, Corvus inflicts a fatal wound to Alacer's chest. But with the last of his strength, Alacer cuts off Corvus' head with a strong swing of his sword and both falls to the floor. At this moment, Verus and Pertinax come running to the throne rooms.

Verus runs up to his teacher Alacer and sees that he is mortally wounded.

Alacer tells Verus that evil has been defeated and there is a chance to restore our lands. His last words were, "Take care of the Green Valleys, new king."

Alaсer dies with a smile on his face, and his soul is free. Amika's soul also gets freedom, and they souls hold hands and ascend to heaven.

Verus wipes the tears from his face, stands up and raises Alacer's sword up and says: "The Green Valley has risen from the ashes! Long live the Green Valleys!"

It's a victory with sadness on our faces.
