About the Translators

Soren A. Gauger is from Vancouver, Canada, and has resided in Kraków for over a decade. His translations include Waiting for the Dog to Sleep by Jerzy Ficowski, Towers of Stone by Wojciech Jagielski, and Bruno Jasienski’s Futurist texts in The Legs of Izolda Morgan. His own writing has appeared in numerous journals and includes a collection of stories, Hymns to Millionaires, and a novella soon to be published.

Marcin Piekoszewski studied at the English Departments of Opole University and Kraków’s Jagiellonian University, graduating from the latter in American Literature. Having worked as a teacher, translator, journalist, and bookseller, he currently lives in Berlin where he runs Buchbund, a Polish-German bookstore.
