AUTHOR’S NOTE

Land of the Gods represents the closing chapter in the ECHO team’s latest struggle and the beginning of a new adventure which has been a long time in the making. Ever since Faulkner’s first appearance in The Aztec Prophecy back in September 2016, I’ve been developing the storyline of his seizing power and isolating the ECHO team, starting with his destruction of their HQ on Elysium in The Secret of Atlantis two months later.

Planning long arcs like this is challenging but a lot of fun and it’s great finally to be able to roll it out. I hope this is working in a way that you enjoy, and keen-eyed readers might have noticed a few loose ends that might have to be tied up in the future. With this in mind, Hawke’s brand new adventure begins with The Orpheus Legacy, a lean, superfast thriller which releases in early 2019, and I’m looking forward to you being able to get into a brand new adventure!

Also on the way are the adrenaline-fueled Raiders series, continuing like a rocket in The Apocalypse Code, and Cairo Sloane’s second installment The Gods of Death, which is also screeching towards us like a runaway train. In other projects, I’ll also be working hard to release the third Avalon Adventure before the year gets too old. I’m starting to miss Decker and the rest of his crew.
