The FSB officials didn’t allow us to record the inventory numbers of the documents made available to us. So we are presenting the documents from the FSB archives and cited in this work under the term ‘TsA FSB.” TsA means Tsentral’nyi arkhiv, or Central Archives.

For the Russian State Military Archives (RGVA, Rossiiskii Gosudarstvenni Voennyi Arkhiv) the documents cited are taken from the individual files of the Nazi prisoners judged to be war criminals. We present them under the term “RGVA.”
