SUMMARY

This issue publishes: the short novel by Vladimir Berezin “Tenderness of the Homeless World”, fragments of the biography book by Zakhar Prilepin “Leonid Leonov. The Game was Grand”, the short story by Oleg Zobern “The Victims of the Volume” and Aleksander Zholkovsky’s “literature vignettes” — “The Double Helix”. The poetry section consists of the new poems by Maria Vatutina, Vladimir Gubaylovsky, Nikita Ivanov, Boris Khersonsky and Andrey Golov.

The sections offerings are following:

Close and Distant: The essay by Petr Gorelik and Nikita Eliseev “Boris Slutsky and Ilya Erenburg” is dedicated to mutual influence of the two authors.

Time and Morals: The article by Arkady Rukh “The Ocean is Waiting” about the future of printed books in the йpoque of cipher formats.

Essais: “Thoughts and observations” by Sergey Schmidt — essays from LiveJournal of popular blogger.

Literary Critique: “The Contracted Paradise” — an article by Mikhail Nazarenko dedicated to image of Ukraine in national literature during period of its formation.
