I can’t believe I have written a sixth Alfie book – how wonderful. I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to still write about Alfie. And that is thanks to a lot of people:

I ran a competition to have a character named after a cat and, although I would have loved to use them all, I was limited to one – so a special mention to Janet Heath and her cat Oliver who appears in the book.
