LAST BATTLE MAP 4: Egwene is shaken by Gawyn’s death. The Sharan channelers go head-to-head against Egwene’s struggling channelers at the western slope of the Heights, while many of the Trollocs descend the southwestern slope, sweeping away Egwene’s cavalry, attempting to cross Hawal Ford, and massing on the Arafellin side of the Mora to attack Mat’s defenders. Mat’s forces are hardpressed and continue to be pounded by Demandred and the Shadow’s forces. But the battle is going better upriver at the ruins, where Tam’s and Lan’s armies decisively crush the Trollocs in a pincer action.
