This-Girl-Who-Asks-Questions
Wants to have no doubt
Whether her love will manage
To save those whose names she cries out.
This does look like a prayer,
This-Girl-Who-Asks-Questions
Eagerly waits for the daybreak
Every night where the battle rages.
Tea? No, better to someone else.
A gas mask? I do have a scarf…
It seems she is whispering verses
While the fire scorches the ground.
This-Girl-Who-Asks-Questions
Remembers everyone from the barricade:
The-Elder-Who-Greets-You-With-Gestures,
The-Guy-Who-Composes-Lays.
Shots, downpour of metal, blasts,
Adrenalin in the combat drive…
Maybe everyone will survive
Because she is on guard?
This-Girl-Who-Asks-Questions
Doesn’t have a definite answer.
She just loves, she loves sternly
Everyone … like there’s no more chance.
