King Dark, the most cruel conqueror in the world, enslaves a small kingdom, banishes the local ruler and drops a veil of eternal gloom on the earth. Dear Stranger, would you permit him to sow disasters in this poor country?

You can give back the sun to the people but first you must take the magic sward away from King Dark. Your way goes through dangerous battles with Thunder brothers, the King’s guards and vassals, throwing thunderbolts from the tips of their fingers. You have to cross the Old forest where dwells the woodspirit Karaconjo and the green manikins always chatter their fingers. In the Endless field the fat little people Kakavaney and their neighbors High-vaney lie in wait for you. And at the end of this dangerous adventure, if you reach the den of King Dark you may be caught in a trap.

You will not be alone in the struggle. The deer, as well as the old owl and three fairies are ready to help you. If you are ingenious enough you will become friends with the King of rats.
